A small family business with a love of camping, comfort and countryside events
Camp Chic is a small family-run business based in Frome, started by Mike and Jess. We met while doing seasonal marquee work, both loved being outdoors, and eventually wanted to build something of our own. Bell tents felt like a natural progression: practical, beautiful, and rooted in the kind of camping and countryside events we genuinely enjoy.
Our aim is to make camping feel accessible and special for different ages, abilities and occasions — whether that means a simple tent-only setup or a fully styled stay that feels warm, easy and memorable. If you want something simple and relaxed, we can provide a beautiful tent-only setup. If you want a hotel-like glamping experience, we can style the space with proper beds, soft linens, lighting, rugs, cushions and all the cosy finishing touches.

We have spent time thinking about how our tents feel — not just how they look. The aim is comfort with a little rustic character, proper interior design in mind, and the authenticity of sleeping outdoors.
Custom full-floor carpets
Soft carpets span the interior floor, adding insulation and a warm, comfortable feel underfoot.
Real bed comfort
King-size divan bed frames, sturdy support and deep foam mattresses help guests sleep properly, even outdoors.

Thick duvets, soft linens, blankets, cushions and pillows create a warm night’s sleep and a welcoming space.
Rustic, but considered
We like natural textures and outdoor character, but we avoid anything too rough or makeshift. The interiors are designed to feel calm, styled and comfortable.

Built around your event
We try to offer a personal, flexible service so each setup suits the event, venue and guests. We usually travel up to around 90 minutes from Frome, and sometimes further depending on the booking.
It has been a privilege to pitch tents for weddings, festivals and private celebrations — including Hotel Melody on the outskirts of Glastonbury Festival. We know how useful on-site accommodation can be when venues have limited rooms or guests would otherwise need taxis, buses or hotels elsewhere.
Whether it is a wedding weekend, a festival camp or a family gathering, we want guests to leave with the feeling that camping can be beautiful, comfortable and a little bit magical.
