You’ve found the venue. The date’s pencilled in. And then comes the question every couple hits about ten minutes later: where is everyone actually going to sleep? If your venue is one of the South West’s beautiful farms, fields or country houses, the nearest hotels can be a taxi ride away and the local B&Bs book out fast. A bell tent village solves it in one go — your favourite people stay right there with you, and the morning after becomes part of the wedding.
How wedding bell tent accommodation works
We bring everything to your venue and build a village of 5-metre bell tents on the lawn or in the next field — usually the day before or the morning of the wedding, always finished before your first guests arrive. Each tent sleeps a couple or a family, and after the weekend we take it all away again. Your venue just needs to be happy for the tents to go up (most are — many love it) and to have a reasonably flat, grassy space.
Choosing interiors: from simple to properly spoiled
Not every guest needs the same tent, and that’s the point of our tiered interiors. Friends who camp anyway are happy in a Nude Pitch (from £135) with their own kit. Most wedding guests love a Rustic Bell (from £175) or a Guest House (from £280) — a real king-size bed, proper bedding, carpet and lighting. And for the newlyweds there’s the Honeymoon Suite (from £380): the full works, plus the little touches that make the first morning married feel special. All prices are for the standard two-night weekend.
How many tents will you need?
A good starting rule: expect roughly a third of your guest list to want to stay over, then divide by two or three per tent. For a 90-guest wedding that’s usually somewhere between eight and fifteen tents. When to book for a 2027 wedding
Summer Saturdays are the first to go — each weekend we can only be in one or two places, so peak 2027 dates are already being reserved. Securing your date is deliberately simple: a £50-per-tent deposit holds it (we set up a minimum of five tents, so £250 secures a full weekend village), with nothing more to pay until eight weeks before the wedding.
Questions couples always ask
Do you handle everything on the day? Yes — delivery, set-up, styling and take-down are all included in the package prices. You never touch a tent peg.
What about power and loos? Tents don’t need power (interior lighting is included), and we can help coordinate luxury loos and showers with trusted partners if your venue needs them.
Which areas do you cover? We’re based in Frome, Somerset, and cover the South West — Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset, Bristol and Bath country and beyond. Delivery is charged simply at our travel cost.
